今日Kevin Durant於火箭球隊訓練後接受採訪，由於火箭將在開幕戰正式對陣上賽季的冠軍球隊、同時也是Durant的母隊雷霆，因此Durant也在受訪中被詢問一些與開幕戰有關的相關問題。
當記者向Durant提問說「加盟火箭後首次回到奧克拉荷馬，當你回到那座球場時，你有想見的人或是工作人員嗎？」Durant則直接回覆說「沒有。」

近期球隊二年級生、去年探花Reed Sheppard的進步時，Durant則肯定Sheppard的表現：「我喜歡Sheppard的表現，在上一場比賽中他發揮出了自己本領，他表現得很有侵略性，無論是在進攻端還是在防守端他都是如此。」
「Reed Sheppard的表現為比賽奠定了基調，我們用球隊的第二陣容、甚至有些是球隊第三陣容中的球員，打敗了全陣容出戰的老鷹，他們是一支很出色的球隊。」Kevin Durant說道。
