根據《Sportsnet》報導指出，DeMar DeRozan近日談到自己的10號球衣未來是否有機會獲多倫多暴龍退休時，坦言「我希望如此」，同時再次表達自己對多倫多這座城市的深厚感情，直言這裡永遠都是他的家：
「我很榮幸能夠回到這裡，親眼看到Vince Carter成為第一位球衣被高掛在球館上空的球員。等到Kyle Lowry的球衣退休時，我肯定也會在現場。能夠看到我私下認識的人，甚至是曾經一起並肩作戰的隊友獲得球衣退休，對我而言意義重大。至於之後會發生什麼，我們就拭目以待。」
