今日灰狼與馬刺展開第二輪系列賽首戰，Anthony Edwards也於今日迎來復出。開賽後雙方持續拉鋸，Dylan Harper延續在首輪的火燙表現幫助球隊取分，不過灰狼也在Julius Randle完成灌籃情況下，帶著1分領先進入第二節。

第二節馬刺靠著Devin Vassell命中三分完成反超，不過Mike Conley也投進三分予以反擊。Victor Wembanyma則持續在禁區防守下展現護框威力，上半場就送出了7次阻攻，雙方半場以45-45戰成平手。

下半場灰狼在Terrence Shannon Jr.持續得分下幫助球隊咬住比分，不過馬刺這邊Keldon Johnson也跳出來為求對拿下分數，第三節最後時刻Keldon Johnson再度取分，幫助馬刺取得3分領先進入末節。

馬刺後續於末節最後時刻迎來反撲，一度將在讀秒時刻將分差追近至兩分，不過Julian Champagnie三分出手沒進，最終讓灰狼成功以104-102在第二輪首戰擊敗馬刺，系列賽正式取得1-0領先。
