東區首輪系列賽第四戰為活塞以88-94不敵魔術，賽後Cade Cunningham接受了記者採訪談到球隊於本場比賽得失利。Cade Cunningham表示自己需要為輸球負很大的責任，並且對自己的表現感到失望。
當談到球隊於今日不敵活塞的感受，Cade Cunningham於賽後說道：
「很大一部分責任在我自己，我對自己的表現很失望，沒能為球隊創造有效進攻機會。」

對於球隊目前陷入淘汰邊緣一事，Cade Cunningham則對此表示道：
「賽前我很意外會走到這一步，但就我們目前的競技狀態而言，這樣的發揮根本無法在聯盟中取勝。以這樣的表現輸球，也就不足為奇了。」
本場比賽Cade Cunningham出賽39分鐘，攻下25分、9籃板、6助攻、2阻攻，但同時也發生了8次失誤。包含本場季後賽的話，Cade Cunningham過去三場季後賽分別送出9、7、8次失誤，創下NBA季後賽歷史任意連續三場比賽的失誤紀錄，總計24次為史上最多。
