先前塞爾提克與公牛達成交易，Nikola Vucevic正式是在交易中轉戰塞爾提克。而在先前的加盟記者會上，Nikola Vucevic也分享了自己加盟塞爾提克的心情，以及自己過去在波士頓的一些小故事。

當談到自己加盟塞爾提克一事時，Nikola Vucevic表示自己對此感到喜悅：

「我一直很喜歡在這裡和塞爾提克比賽，也很喜歡TD花園球館。這裡的球迷很棒…他們非常尊重比賽。他們為塞爾提克加油，但也尊重對手。」

「這些年來一直有很多關於我加盟塞爾提克的傳聞，很多時候當我身處波士頓，在城市裡四處走動時，都能聽到球迷們邀請我來這裡。現在這一切終於實現了，我非常高興，我會盡我所能幫助球隊。」
