賽後Marcus Smart於受訪中表示湖人應專注回防而非抱怨裁判吹罰：「我們不該總停留在和裁判爭論，而是要及時回防。過多的抱怨顯然對比賽無益…必須學會快速調整，專注下一回合的攻防。」

"Instead of getting back, we're talking to the officials a lot. That definitely doesn't help. ... We gotta be able to play on and move on to the next play."
