今日NBA盃賽事中尼克最終以124-113擊敗馬刺奪冠，而Karl-Anrhony Towns本場比賽出賽30分鐘，攻下了16分、11籃板、2抄截。尼克今日也在禁區鋒線戰力上展現宰制力，多次衝搶進攻籃板讓馬刺於末節未能將分差追近。

根據記者Brett Siegel報導指出，Towns將把他在NBA盃中獲得的50萬美元獎金，捐給他在多明尼加共和國設立的基金會，用於幫助當地的孩子們。

Karl-Anthony Towns過去於2023年NBA世界盃中曾代表多明尼加出賽，而他也在世界盃賽場上繳出了24.4分、8籃板、1.6助攻的表現，於國際籃球賽場上展現出一定宰制力。

Karl-Anthony Towns says that he plans to donate his $530,000 from winning the NBA Cup to his foundation in the Dominican Republic to help the community and families in financial hardship build homes.
