Marcus Morris與Markief Morris今日在兩人所屬的節目《Morris Code Show》中談到兄弟倆能在決鬥中「打贏」Nikola Jokic的兄弟們，聲稱自己能在這場對決中達到輕鬆輾壓的效果。
Markief Morris在節目上說道：「我身高6呎8、體重280磅，這些壯碩的傢伙動不起來，我會直接朝他們胸口出手。我很容易就能制伏他們，這根本沒有懸念、完全是一邊倒。」
2021年11月Marcus Morris在比賽中對Nikola Jokic實施惡意犯規，Jokic隨即從背後猛烈推人，導致Morris頸部受傷缺陣數月，兩人因此結下樑子。此後Morris兄弟與Jokic兄弟多次在社群媒體上互相挑釁，甚至揚言若有機會願在拳擊場上解決恩怨，成為NBA近年來最著名的「兄弟之戰」之一。
