根據《The Athletic》報導指出，今夏加盟勇士的Al Horford在受訪中談到自己加盟勇士背後的故事。Horford坦言自己並沒有和Stephen Curry、Draymond Green有私交，但當自己出現有加盟勇士的可能時，這兩人便開始招募自己。

當談到Curry、Green是否有招募自己去勇士時，Horford在受訪中說道：「是的我和Stephen Curry、Draymond Green都有過交流。這很關鍵一切都進展很快，當他們主動聯繫我、並表示希望我加入時，我覺得我非常適配他們、感覺非常好，他們的親自邀請至關重要。」

「是的我覺得勇士會是我的最後一支球隊，就我職業生涯的這個階段而言，我的目標就是留在這裡。」Al Horford說道。
