先前火箭的新賽季媒體日中，休賽季重返老東家火箭的Clint Capela在採訪中聊到了與Kevin Durant成為隊友的事。Capela在受訪中表示這感覺很奇怪，自己也還沒跟Durant聊到這件事。

當被問及曾經與Durant做對手如今做隊友的感受時，Capela在受訪中說道：「這個話題有點奇怪…我還沒跟他提過這些。其實我不想聊這個話題，那幾年大概是我們離總冠軍最近的時候，所以…我們還是不說了吧。」

2018年與2019年時Capela效力的火箭隊與Durant效力的勇士兩度在季後賽相遇，火箭最終都輸給勇士止步。
