近日「NBA Memes」粉專分享了一則有關於Zach LaVine與其父親Paul LaVine的照片，並引述幾年前Paul LaVine在受訪中分享了有關於Zach LaVine小時候與老師的一則經歷。
Zach LaVine與其父親Paul LaVine在一次受訪中，分享了Zach LaVine與小學老師互動的經歷：「四年級時，有個老師問他(Zach)想成為什麼樣的人，他說他想成為一名NBA球星老師卻讓他寫一些更現實的目標…於是我和我妻子去了學校，我們告訴那位老師，那是我兒子的夢想，所以請不要去破壞它，那就是他想成為的人。 」
後來Zach LaVine也在選秀會上獲得灰狼的青睞，並於灌籃大賽上一舉成名，如今的LaVine則效力於國王、擔綱國王的先發得分後衛一職。
