洛杉磯湖人隊正在積極重組陣容，為2025-26賽季再度出發。本週，湖人成功網羅前拓荒者中鋒Deandre Ayton，並續約Jaxson Hayes一年，加強內線深度。
根據《HoopsHype》記者Michael Scotto報導，Ayton在買斷合約後吸引多隊關注，包括溜馬、尼克、金塊、騎士與公鹿皆提出報價，但他最終選擇加盟湖人，最大誘因正是與Dončić並肩作戰的機會。
「Ayton認為湖人提供了最適合他的籃球環境，」Scotto指出，「他視Dončić為聯盟最佳組織者，與這位年齡相仿的超級球星合作，讓他毫不猶豫地做出決定。」
