根據Shams Charania報導指出，LaMelo Ball因左小腿拉傷將至少缺陣兩週，同時隊上後衛Tre Mann下背部疼痛已被診斷為椎間盤突出，也將在兩週後接受重新評估，而這也讓黃蜂的後場戰力少了兩名可用人選。

賽季至今LaMelo Ball場均可攻下31.1分、5.4籃板、6.9助攻，投籃命中率達43%，三分命中率達35.6%。而LaMelo Ball場均24.9次的投籃出手數也是繼2000年來第五高的次數。
