今日拓荒者以89-134在主場大比分不敵灰熊，而末節最後一波進攻由拓荒者的Dalano Banton持球，在比賽結束前他突然切入上籃，結果遭到灰熊的Zach Edey蓋掉，雙方在賽後隨即爆發口角與衝突。
比賽結束當下，雙方教練團已經在握手，但場上球員們彼此間的火氣卻越發激烈，灰熊總教練Taylor Jenkins甚在握手到一半就趕緊上場阻止衝突的發生。
本場比賽結束後，拓荒者戰績來到3勝8敗，位居西區第14；灰熊戰機則來到7勝4敗，戰績來到西區第5。
