在賽後總教練Redick對於這波低潮中，認為球隊意識到的是必須要有多名球員同時發揮出色，才能拿下勝利，而非只有幾位球員的爆發。
JJ Redick said that his biggest takeaway from this five-game road trip is that when the Lakers have seven to eight players competing, they’re a good team. When it’s only two or three players, or even five, the Lakers aren’t.

Redick甚至談到D’Angelo Russell，上場時間今天只剩下22分鐘，他表示認為D’Angelo Russell上場時間會變少，是因為缺乏「競爭意識」和「對細節專注度」，希望D’Angelo Russell在未來改善這些壞習慣。
Redick也表示，未來可能會讓Gabe Vincent上場更多的時間。
JJ Redick said D’Angelo Russell only played 22 minutes tonight because of Russell’s “level of compete” and “attention to detail.” He said he felt Russell reverted to old habits and Redick wanted to see more of Gabe Vincent out there.
