Kevin Durant與Bradley Beal分別貢獻25分與24分，帶領太陽隊取得首勝。Devin Booker拿下15分、6次助攻、4個籃板、1次抄截與1次火鍋。

快艇James Harden在下半場帶動球隊反攻，砍下全場最高的29分。不過Harden在延長賽還剩4秒時，錯失了一個關鍵罰球，未能將比分追平為114-114。

Jusuf Nurkic搶下Harden沒罰進後的籃板並被犯規，隨後兩罰全中，為球隊確立三分領先優勢。快艇隊在最後3秒叫了暫停，試圖完成最後一擊，但Harden接到邊線發球後被Grayson Allen成功抄截，太陽隊最終鎖定勝局。
