今日快艇舉辦了季前媒體日，而Kawhi Leonard在接受採訪時被問及Paul George離開球隊後的看法，Leonard表示有George在場上固然會更加輕鬆，但他的離開不會讓自己感到更加困難。
談到Paul George離開快艇的影響，Kawhi Leonard在採訪中說道：「顯然他在場上讓比賽變得更輕鬆，但就我比賽中的專注度而言，我不認為這會讓我變得更困難…對於場上的任何人來說，我都不會把他視作我的救世主。 」

而對於自己身體的健康度，Leonard則是給予回覆道：「我們在一步步來，過去一個月一切進展順利，但他們非常謹慎。過去的季後賽中，我沒能打到最後，所以現在要確保自己在那些重要時刻保持健康。」
此外Leonard表示自己計畫參加例行賽首戰，但這仍取決於他的身體狀況。
