今天塞爾提克舉辦開季前的媒體日，讓各家媒體有機會更近距離訪問到球員的一舉一動，今天Jaylen Brown也有接受訪問，除了被問到美國隊沒有選他對於他的影響之外，他也講到自己球隊上的球員深度。
Jaylen Brown表示，球隊即便球星沒有上場，或是當天狀況不好，依然有球員可以跳出來發揮，他甚至舉例上個賽季對上活塞隊的比賽，依然可以贏球。
Brown說：「假設我們今天有比賽，我們對上活塞隊，不是對他們不敬的意思，他們已經掙扎許多年，我們可以讓Payton Pritchard得到三十分，讓Hauser頭十顆三分球，照樣可以贏球。」
