火箭今天在自己主場面對排名在前方的勇士隊，先前拉出了一波11連勝，給了他們機會再更追近勇士，今天也有機會靠著贏球拉近彼此勝差，不過火箭今天整體戰力上完全不敵對手勇士，加上先前吞下的連敗，已經落後勇士來到四場勝差。
賽後總教練Ime Udoka談到這場輸球，直言表示球隊害怕大場面，他說：「對很多球員來說，這場面對球員太大，將好像是小鹿看到探照燈，看起來太軟或就像是被嚇到，其中一個是我們面臨的情況。」
今天火箭隊Jabari Smith Jr.攻下24分全隊最高，先前連勝打得很好的Jalen Green被壓制只有13分，板凳Cam Whitmore得到17分。
