根據記者Adrian Wojnarowski消息，後衛Delon Wright將會與華盛頓巫師買斷合約，將會在買斷之後加入熱火隊。

稍早巫師也正式的將Delon Wright丟進讓渡名單之中。

Delon Wright在去年與巫師隊簽約兩年1600萬美金合約，這兩個賽季還有場均6.1 分、3.3助攻, 2.9 籃板、1.5 抄截。

熱火後衛在交易市場有得到Terry Rozier，不過近期進到傷兵名單，還有Josh Richardson也受傷，只剩Tyler Herro、Caleb Martin，Jimmy Butler也因故沒有出席近期比賽，熱火剩下最後一個球員空格選擇簽下Delon Wright。
