根據記者Marc Stein報導，暴龍有意想要再次交易Bruce Brown，不過要價是至少再一枚的首輪籤，和一位「有品質」的球員，先前暴龍才送出Pascal Siakam，從溜馬換回三張首輪籤和Brown。

而根據報導指出，目前東西區兩隻豪門球隊尼克和湖人，都對於Brown感到有興趣，湖人是先前在自由市場想要簽下Brown但受限薪資空間，尼克則是交易進OG Anunoby後，仍然對暴龍隊的球員有想要換進的意願。

而昨天剛好在紐約作客的Brown，被問到如果加入紐約的看法，他甚至清楚回答：「我是可以打的球員，可以做總教練Tom Thibodeau要求的任何事情，我在攻防兩端都非常投入、認真，我也他喜歡的球員，每次交手我都會和Thibodeau相互致意，我喜歡紐約。」
