馬刺今天作客飛往波士頓打塞爾提克，此戰塞爾提克有兩位主力球員因傷輪休，分別是Derrick White（腳踝）和Kristaps Porzingis（膝蓋），總教練Joe Mazzulla表示這兩位球員都沒有大礙，不會休息過久時間。

正好今天對上的對手是White的前球隊馬刺，前任總教練Gregg Popovich在上次White去到馬刺主場就引起了許多話題，今天則來到波士頓又討論到White，這次是有關White不會在今天上場。

聽到White不會上場的Popovich說：「他害怕我們，他今晚不會打坐在板凳上，我準備了一堆計畫對付他，我們要摧毀他。」

本賽季White場均來到15.9分、4.9助攻、3.9籃板，許多數據都創下生涯新高，命中率同樣也是繼新秀年後生涯新高。
