根據記者Kendra Andrews報導，勇士隊總教練Steve Kerr表示Gary Payton II將傷癒歸隊，明日對上獨行俠的比賽會上場，將會有上場時間的限制。

GP2因為在季中錦標賽對上國王在場上小腿拉傷的關係，過去一個月比賽都沒有上場，今年球季場均5.9分、3.1籃板、1.2抄截，投籃命中率4成79。

若GP2回到球隊中，勇士隊的輪替名單勢必又要重新調整，目前Brandin Podziemski上先發位置，Andrew Wiggins從板凳出發，GP2應該會從板凳出發，與Moses Moody爭取輪替位置。
