根據先前BBC新聞在8月17日報導指出，大英博物館在部分文物「遺失、被盜、損壞」之後，開除了部分工作人員和部分警衛人員。

而獨行俠球星Kyrie Irving近日在該新聞的留言區說道：

「大英博物館是時候將這些被盜的文物還給它們應屬的社區和部落了，所有的祖先都在等待。」

It’s about time ALL of the stolen artifacts in the British Museum are returned to the communities/tribes they belong to.
