根據Kingtisemedia的報導，在一段影片中，Stephen Curry告訴布登霍爾澤教練（字母哥隊的全明星教練），James Harden告訴他（Curry），想要嘗試勇士的比賽風格，讓球在球場上是移動的。Curry說道，Harden不喜歡英雄球（hero ball），想打美麗籃球（beautiful basketball）。

Curry和布登霍爾澤同樣認為，Harden的打球方式進入季後賽之後會有些艱難。
