先前灰熊不敵雷霆遭橫掃，正式結束本賽季的征程。而在近日Ja Morant接受採訪時談到對陣雷霆的季後賽時，Morant表示如果自己沒有受傷的話，系列賽到現在還不會結束。
談到和雷霆的系列賽，Ja Morant說他不喜歡在客場的兩場比賽：「我害怕回答這個問題，因為我說的話會被廣為傳播，但我已經把他們搞明白了（I had them figured out）」
而Morant也在採訪中表示道，如果自己沒有受傷的話，現在系列賽的大比分會是2-2平手。Ja Morant在首輪系列賽第三戰傷退離場，隨後第四戰Morat也因傷未能出賽。
當談到自己的傷病問題時，Morant則表示這很多是他自己無法控制的：「我覺得今年我所受的每一次傷都是我無法控制的，除了那些傷病之外，我覺得這是我最健康的賽季之一。」
Morant也補充說道，他沒有像最近幾個賽季那樣出現膝蓋或背部疼痛。

Added that he believes the series would be tied 2-2 headed back to OKC if he didn’t get hurt.

“Outside of those injuries, I feel like I had one of my healthiest seasons.”
Added that he didn’t have any knee or back pain like recent seasons.
