NBA開打至今快一個月，有表現好的隊伍當然就有表現差的球隊，底特律活塞隊目前遭遇11連敗，已落至全聯盟倒數位置；賽後球隊當家球星Cade Cunningham也談到球隊目前遇到的狀況，他也說向外界表達沒事是騙人的，大家必須要正視問題存在。

Cunningham說：「我們需要看清楚現實多一點。很難去現在說『我們沒事，我們沒事。』懂我意思嗎？因為我們真的很不好。我們必須得表達出來。我們要表達、強調出我們做得不好的地方。而且，我們不能只是嘴上說說，得在場上表現出來。」

賽後總教練Monty Williams也被問到是否會去注意到年輕球員競爭心態的問題。Monty表示：「這取決球員心態，每位球員想在職業球員生涯最後達到什麼？這不是拯救球隊任務，這是男人之間的比賽。」最後Monty也說：「他相信球隊會走出這個低潮的？」

Asked Monty if he's concerned that he has to challenge compete level in the midst of a losing streak like this: "It gets to you. At the end of the day, what are you going to do? This isn't a rescue business. This is a man's business."

He believes they will get out of this funk.

活塞這場雖然有兩名主力因感冒未能出賽（Killian Hayes、Jalen Duren），但本場比賽內容上早早就被暴龍隊打爆，還被對手傳出破隊史紀錄的44次助攻，Cade Cunningham得到18分、5籃板、4助攻。
