根據Shams Charania報導指出，灰熊隊在開除總教練Taylor Jenkins後，將任命助理教練Tuomas Iisalo為臨時總教練。Iisalo來自芬蘭，曾擔任芬蘭職業球員和教練。他於2024年擔任芬蘭巴黎奧運代表隊總教練，過去也榮獲歐洲盃和歐洲盃年度最佳教練等殊榮。

目前距離季後賽的時間已經越來越近，而灰熊目前取得44勝29敗，位居西區第五，球團在此時宣布撤換總教練的決定讓許多人感到不解。
