根據Shams Charania報導指出，Damian Lillard被診斷出右小腿血栓傷勢將無限期缺陣。目前Lillard正在接受抗凝血藥物治療，血栓已穩定，並將繼續進行定期檢測。

本季Lillard出賽58場比賽，場均可攻下24.9分、4.7板、7.1助攻，而Damian Lillard向記者Chris Haynes談到自己的診斷結果時說道：

「這種無法掌控的情況出現確實很不幸，我們的首要任務是保障我的健康和安全。儘管我熱愛籃球，但我更需要為我的孩子和家人而在。我很感激公鹿對此事的迅速反應，他們在整個過程中都表現得非常支持和積極。我期待盡快渡過這一關，繼續我的職業生涯。」
