NBA金州勇士前鋒Draymond Green近日因其podcast言論引發爭議，紐約尼克中鋒Karl-Anthony Towns因私人原因缺席了比賽，但Draymond說Towns是因為害怕。

報導指出Towns的女友、模特兒 Jordyn Woods 正因一位摯友死於乳癌而哀悼。然而Draymond在週三的播客《The Draymond Green Show》中卻對此提出質疑，稱「有人說他沒打是因為 Jimmy Butler 在場內，他們說Towns是因為Butler來了才不打。」

Draymond還提到他曾在比賽當晚與 Towns 的父親 Karl Towns Sr. 交談，但未透露任何關於 Towns 缺賽原因的線索。此言論播出後引發網上強烈反彈，該片段隨後從節目中被剪輯移除。
