NBA傳奇球星現在正在TNT擔任球評的Charles Barkley與前球員Kendrick Perkins之間的恩怨再度升溫。稍早Barkley在TNT的《Inside the NBA》節目中直接對鏡頭開砲，批評ESPN過度關注洛杉磯湖人與金州勇士，而忽略克里夫蘭騎士和奧克拉荷馬雷霆。

Barkley特別點名Perkins，稱其為「愚蠢的白痴」，並質疑他本週聲稱「湖人拯救了NBA」的言論，Barkley還說這個人就是我們下個賽季要去工作的那個電視台。

對此Perkins迅速在社群媒體上回應：「@NBAonTNT，記得告訴那位老先生查爾斯·巴克利，我隨時在這裡！如果他認為我是愚蠢的白痴，那就當面說清楚。我可是德州409區的，從不退縮，隨時奉陪！」
