近日，前猶他爵士隊球星 Deron Williams 參加了《Run It Back》節目，他在節目中談到，湖人隊及其領軍人物 Kobe Bryant 在2008年至2010年連續三次擊敗爵士隊，阻礙了他們爭奪總冠軍的道路。

他提到，如果沒有湖人隊擋路，爵士隊有機會每年爭奪冠軍。

Deron 表示：「如果沒有湖人隊，我們每年都有機會爭奪總冠軍。但我們就是無法越過 Kobe 這道坎。當然，他們還有非常強大的內線組合，包括 Andrew Bynum 和 Lamar Odom。他們的身高、臂長以及全面性使得我們難以應對。」

Kobe Bryant 在對陣爵士隊時的統治力是毋庸置疑的。在常規賽和季後賽的對戰中，Kobe 以26勝10負（例行賽14勝7負，季後賽12勝3負）的記錄占據優勢。在這些比賽中，Kobe 場均得到28.7分、5.2個籃板，高效地擊潰了爵士隊的防守。

儘管 Deron Williams 表現出色（場均20.1分、3.3個籃板、9.2次助攻），他仍然無法獨自帶領爵士隊戰勝當時強大的湖人隊。
