昨天公鹿隊賽後發生場外事件，Patrick Beverley因女記者沒有訂閱他自己的podcast頻道，而不給他受訪，這件事情極其荒謬；而所有知名的記者也在都在聲援該名女記者，女記者為業界著名，以經有40年資歷的Malinda Adams。

Brian Windhorst寫到：「Malinda Adams恰好是ESPN最受尊敬和最專業的老員工之一。Beverley今晚你得為一些事情道歉。」

而身為大媒體的ESPN，當然不會放過Beverley，他在未來也不會以「來賓」身份登上ESPN的節目，等同算是被封殺。

女記者則是在事後隔天，親自發文表示Beverley已經打過電話，親自向他道歉，同時公鹿球團也向他道歉。
