根據記者Adrian Wojnarowski消息，爵士隊將簽下兩位打過NBA的球員Darius Bazley及Kenneth Lofton Jr.（非保障合約），兩位今年剛好都是在七六人G-League球隊打球過的經驗，接下來將轉戰爵士隊的NBA球隊。

Darius Bazley本賽季原本是與籃網簽約，之後被裁掉後轉戰七六人的G-League球隊，前陣子與七六人簽下十日短約，但是上場三場都是在垃圾時間上場，七六人也沒有宣佈續約，現在將轉戰爵士獲得機會。
Kenneth Lofton Jr.則也同樣轉輾多支球隊，季初原本在灰熊，但因為騰出球員空格給Ja Morant被裁掉，之後到了七六人也是多數時間在G-League球隊打球，之後也同樣被七六人裁掉，跟Bazley一起到爵士獲得機會。
而因為Otto Porter宣布退休關係，爵士將Otto Porter直接釋出獲得球隊空格簽下這兩位球員。
