黃蜂今天在自家主場面對灰熊隊，也是交易截止日後的第一場比賽，全隊在新加盟的Tre Mann、Vasilije Micic、Grant Williams幫助之下，成功以115-106擊敗灰熊，終止近期的10連敗。
交易進來的球員還包括了Seth Curry，剛好他的爸爸正是之前打過黃蜂隊的Dell Curry，目前也正在黃蜂當地電視台擔任球評，他在賽前主持時就說：「對爸爸來說是個夢想成真，我在這邊打過10年的球，還穿上同個號碼，昨天晚上睡得不多，交易之後我就一直笑，現在真實要上演在我們面前了。」

替補上場之後，Dell Curry依舊感到非常的開心，還開了Seth Curry的玩笑，Dell Curry說：「我瞭解他，他沒告訴我要穿什麼號碼，也沒有問我這個號碼（30號）可不可以穿。
