賽後Jaylen Brown談到不多這場比賽內容，反倒講了很多球員成長面的事，他就表示今年總教練Joe Mazzulla鼓勵我們更常思考比賽，他說：「Joe（Mazzulla）鼓勵我們去思考比賽，去看看哪裡有錯位，看其他球隊是怎麼防守我們，讓我們場上五人確實在思考比賽，並在場上成為最聰明的球員。」
被問到相比上個賽季，本賽季他們的進步之處是什麼，Brown說：「我覺得這是一個新的賽季。一是我們經驗更多了，多了一年的經驗。第二，我覺得我們的球隊建構更加完整了，我們引進了Jrue和KP。
「要稱贊球員們......要稱贊管理層將他們加入球隊他們。還有要稱讚一下教練組。我覺得這個賽季教練們做得很棒，他們讓我們看到了比賽應有的局面為何。」Brown補充。
