尼克球員Evan Fournier接受媒體採訪，談到了自己的處境。Fournier在採訪中表示自己相當不滿在尼克的境遇，甚至直言繼續待在尼克是場災難。

「如果我明年繼續留在尼克的話，那這對我的籃球生涯來說將是一場災難。」Fournier在採訪中說道「一年不打球我還能應付，如果這個時間要延長到兩年的話就太糟糕了。」

「你會想生氣的噴人，你會對此有怨恨，我跟Derrick Rose會面面相覷然後對彼此說『我們到底在這里幹嘛？』」Fournier說道。

隨後記者提問道「你跟Tom Thibodeau(尼克總教練)的關係好嗎？」Fournier則回應道「不好」。

不過Fournier對自己仍保持了一絲樂觀，並表示自己一定會從中迎來重生：「當悟空在那美克星上受重傷，在回復膠囊裡療傷時，我每次練習腦中都會浮現這個畫面。」 

Fournier上賽季僅為尼克出戰27場比賽，並在季後賽中沒有獲得任何上場時間。
